Family Toolbox

Family Toolbox is a new way of working, designed with and for Wirral’s families. It is about making resources and support more readily available to all parents and carers, when they need it. Family Toolbox is made up of digital tools and resources, brilliant people and places, offering support from organisations families already know and trust.

HOW CAN I GET SUPPORT?

Follow the link below to go directly to the Family Toolbox website.

Ask the professionals you already know and trust to introduce you to the website.

If you prefer to find help in person, you can still go along as usual to local organisations, such as Children’s Centres, community hubs and other charities.

WHO’S BEHIND FAMILY TOOLBOX?

The Founding Members of Family Toolbox are people families already know and trust:

Koala North West, Caritas Shrewsbury, Ferries Family Groups, Foundation Years Trust, Involve North West, Shaftesbury Youth Club and WEB. Working in an alliance with Wirral Borough Council to grow and develop Family Toolbox, making support free from referrals and thresholds, so families can access support as and when they feel they need.

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN ORGANISATIONS

The founding members will support and encourage relationship building and partnership working across Wirral services by:
• Building a network of Wirral organisations that share the values of Family Toolbox
• Promoting membership of Family Toolbox
• Facilitating multi-agency forums, information sessions, conferences and shared training
• Operating a Small Grants Fund to fill gaps in services
