Contributions

Your contributions help us provide love and support throughout our Diocese. The kindness, generosity and thoughtfulness of our parishes, schools and supporters enable us to get out into the heart of our communities and bring the light of the Gospel to those in need.

There are so many things you can do to join in and help us! Have a browse through some of the ways you can contribute.

Collection Boxes
We have a team of dedicated Parish Agents who collect, empty and count the contents of our collection boxes from the parishioners who generously support our work. This happens twice a year, in the spring and autumn.

If you would like to support Caritas Shrewsbury through this initiative we’d love to hear from you!

Please contact Anne Smith on anne.smith@caritasshrewsbury.org.uk or 0151 652 1281.

Parish Appeals & Fundraising
Throughout the year parishes in the Diocese will support our work via appeals, and various other organised events. During the festive season the Christmas Crib collection is given to Caritas.

Look out for further information in parish newsletters and appeal literature and help us raise much needed funds for our work.

If you’ve arranged an event for Caritas Shrewsbury, let us know! Please send in your details and photos to anne.smith@caritasshrewsbury.org.uk and we’ll get them on the website.

Standing Orders & Legacies
Setting up a Standing Order gives you the opportunity to support us regularly and enables us to plan our budgets with a guaranteed income.

It’s so easy to set up, simply print off a Standing Order form (download > Caritas Standing Order Form), complete and send into us at:
Caritas Diocese of Shrewsbury
Wheatland Lane
Wallasey
Wirral
CH44 7ED

Another way you can help is by considering a Legacy donation. We are so very blessed that some benefactors remember us at special times. For more details, please contact Anne Smith on anne.smith@caritasshrewsbury.org.uk or 0151 652 1281.

Don’t Forget Gift Aid!

Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers, which means your donations will be worth 25% more to us at no extra cost to you!

If you are a taxpayer please consider signing a Gift Aid form (download > Caritas Gift Aid Form). It costs you nothing but would make a big difference to us.

(Hard copies can be requested from Head Office by calling 0151 652 1281.)
