How great thou Art!

During the Summer members of the Mend Minds and SENsitive Groups, along with food bank volunteers, created a colourful mosaic mural for the nature garden at St Aidan’s Centre. The aim of the project was to use art to bring people together after the pandemic, as well as to provide a stunning focal point in the nature garden.
Antony, one of the Mend Mind’s leaders said, “At first, I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy doing it, but surprisingly found that I did! It was so relaxing to do.”
Amy a member of the SENsitive group said, “It was great to work with other groups and to see how the mural came together. At the beginning I never dreamt it would turn out this good.”

Claire one of the foodbank volunteers said, “It was good to get to know other people and I think the mural looks magnificent in the garden.”
Thank you to all those involved, particularly to Patricia and Rosie from the Dynamic Engagement Project for their support and expertise in this field as well as buzz for helping to fund the project.
